A loyal partner of UNICEF, Pompes Japy has renewed its commitment this year by supporting the UNICEF campaign “Schools for Africa”. This funding campaign organised by the UNICEF in Mozambique aims to improve the quality of education for 300,000 students by uniting socially responsible companies around a common and concrete project. Thanks to the support of Pompes Japy, one school will be renovated and we are proud to have become an “Entreprise Amie de l’Unicef”.
By supporting this campaign, Pompes Japy joins the UNICEF in improving the quality of basic education dispensed in primary schools in 6 countries of Southern and East Africa. In order to reinforce the actions conducted in this way until now, the UNICEF created the “Packet of Integrated Services” (Paquet de Services intégrés - PSI). The PSI enables us to improve primary schools with a global and structured approach that includes:
The goal of this international programme also lies in offering a healthy and protective environment for children and vulnerable adolescents facing violence and illegal immigration. This multifaceted approach allows us to offer suitable solutions to all difficulties and greatly facilitates schooling and its completion rate. Specialising in the transfer of liquids, Pompes Japy notably intervenes in this programme to assist in the collection of drinking water.
